Kiyomon-yu
きよもん湯
Does Kiyomon-yu allow tattoos? In a private bath
The bathhouse publishes no tattoo policy for its shared baths, so take one of its three private family baths. They cost ¥1,000 for 50 minutes on top of the ¥500 entry.
The bathhouse has three family baths that one party takes privately, ¥1,000 a room for up to 50 minutes on top of the entry fee. Its page says nothing about tattoos in the two shared baths, so the family bath is the one to use.
What the hotel says about its baths
家族風呂(3ヶ所有り)は、入浴料とは別に一室貸切り料1,000円(50分以内)
The operator’s own wording.
The bath
Three family baths, each for one party, on the same free-flowing water as the two shared baths. The spring is an alkaline simple sulfur spring that the operator says has been in use for about 1,500 years, and nothing is recirculated. The operator’s page doesn’t say whether a family bath can be reserved.
Open noon to 11:30 p.m., in principle every day of the year. Entry is ¥500 for adults and ¥300 for children from age one through elementary school. A family bath adds ¥1,000 a room for up to 50 minutes.
