Does Mori no Hotel Waldberg allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

The hotel publishes no tattoo policy for its shared baths. Its private bath, open-air and indoor together on the hotel’s own spring, is ¥2,200 for 45 minutes.

One private bath has both an open-air and an indoor tub, free-flowing from the hotel’s own source. Staying guests pay ¥2,200 for 45 minutes and day visitors ¥3,300, booked at the front desk. The hotel’s pages say nothing about tattoos.

What the hotel says about its baths

大浴場、露天風呂、野天風呂、貸切風呂温泉は源泉掛け流し、大自然の恵みをそのまま浴槽に注いでおります。

The bath

The private bath is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., last entry 10 p.m. The shared large bath and open-air bath run around the clock except for cleaning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A wild bath beside the stream is closed for now as a precaution against bears.

The hotel

Japanese rooms of ten and twelve tatami mats and two Western rooms, each with an ordinary bath and toilet. Check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is 10 a.m. Day visitors can use the shared baths from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ¥1,000; the hotel suggests calling first, because the baths are drained on irregular days.
