Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Awazu Grand Hotel

大江戸温泉物語 あわづグランドホテル

Does Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Awazu Grand Hotel allow tattoos? Yes, covered

Cover seal required

The indoor bath floors here are laid with tatami, which the hotel says makes them safe underfoot for small children, and the spring is Awazu’s own. Tattoos go in only under the group’s paid seals.

The hotel’s bath page bars tattoos from the large baths unless they are completely covered with the paid cover seals the hotel sells. Ooedo’s group FAQ puts the ceiling at two 10 × 14 cm seals, 220 yen each, bought at the front desk. There is no private bath for guests who need more cover than that.
