APA Hotel & Resort Kaga Katayamazu Onsen Kasuikyo
アパホテル&リゾート 加賀片山津温泉 佳水郷
Does APA Hotel & Resort Kaga Katayamazu Onsen Kasuikyo allow tattoos? In a private bath
A lakeside resort ryokan run by APA, whose top floor holds rooms with an open-air tub of their own looking across Lake Shibayama to the Hakusan range.
No tattoo rule is published on the hotel’s bath page or its FAQ. The rooms on the eighth floor, the top, have an open-air bath of their own facing the Hakusan range, and one of those is the way to bathe without the question.

It covers the ride from Kanazawa to Kaga-Onsen; the CAN BUS from the station is paid separately. Worth it if Awara, Unazuki or a second Kaga town is on the same trip. Sold on Klook.
A chain rule with the smallest seal on this page
APA states its rule centrally, in force since 19 March 2019 and repeated on every property page: tattoos are refused in the daiyokujo unless they can be hidden under no more than two of APA’s own point cover seals, each 10×12 cm (3.9×4.7 in). What happens when you arrive
Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.
How we know
Confirmed from official site, bath structure rather than a tattoo policy (the 客室 page lists the 最上階 露天風呂付き客室)

Best for: A top-floor open-air tub facing the Hakusan range across the lake
Top-floor open-air rooms: a Japanese room (10 mats plus veranda and balcony) from 31,000 yen and a Japanese-Western suite with twin beds and a shower booth from 32,000 yen, per room for two with two meals.
