Does Hotel Yumoto Noboribetsu allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

Four spring types in one building, and a pair of special rooms that pipe the hot spring indoors and stand a self-loyly sauna next to it, which the house says no other address in Noboribetsu had done before.

Yumoto says nothing about tattoos, and its four springs all run into shared halls, so the way in here is the special rooms. The house calls them the first guest rooms in the Noboribetsu district with hot-spring water plumbed into the room and a self-loyly sauna beside it. Dinner is served in the room as standard, which means a tattooed guest can arrive, bathe, eat and sleep without crossing the shared bath at all.

Toyako Onsen is the Hokuto, the limited express to Hakodate, as far as Toya, then a Donan bus of 24 minutes around the lake, about 2 h 20 in all. Niseko is about 3 h 25 by way of Otaru and Kutchan, or a direct highway coach for less money. Jozankei has no railway: the Jotetsu Kappa Liner runs there from Sapporo Station in 56 minutes and is booked in advance. Best for: A guest room with both the hot spring and a sauna you pour the water on yourself

Four spring types in the house: sulfur, food-salt, acid iron and a blended source, all served free-flowing, with the sauna block rebuilt in 2023. In-room dining is the default: “夕食は家族やグループで気兼ねなく楽しめる「お部屋食」を基本としています。” Day bathing runs 13:00–20:00 with last entry at 19:00, 1,400 yen for adults and 700 for children. The hotel is part of Granvista Hotels & Resorts, whose group site publishes no tattoo rule either.
