Noboribetsu Grand Hotel
登別グランドホテル
There is no tattoo rule anywhere on this hotel’s site, so the shared domed bath is an unknown and is treated here as closed. What the hotel does publish is a single hot-spring family bath, booked by the hour, and it sells that bath to day visitors as well as to guests. Seven guest rooms also have their own open-air tub, though the hotel is careful to say that water is not the Noboribetsu spring.
Best for: Booking a private hot-spring bath by the hour without staying the night
One family bath only, food-salt spring, 50 minutes for 4,400 yen including tax since 1 April 2025, and the hotel says to reserve ahead because there is nothing else to fall back on. Day visitors may use it, but the day-use admission (2,000 yen adults, 1,000 yen children) is charged on top. Day-use bathing runs 12:30–20:00 with last entry at 19:00, plus a 07:00–10:00 morning slot, and starts at 14:30 on Mondays and Thursdays. Of the seven rooms with an open-air tub, five are Western and two Japanese, and the hotel states: “※露天風呂付客室のお風呂は天然温泉ではございません。ラジウム鉱泉を利用した人工温泉です”
