Does APA Hotel Takamatsu Airport allow tattoos? Yes, covered

Cover seal required

A 157-room hotel on high ground three minutes from Takamatsu Airport, where the top-floor spring bath looks out toward the Inland Sea and the desk hands over two tattoo seals a night.

APA refuses tattooed bathers and then names the exact exception: up to two of the chain’s own point cover seals, each 10cm by 12cm, and if the tattoo disappears under them the bath is open. Guests get two seals a night free at the front desk, handed over one night at a time rather than all at once, and the rule says to come to the desk each time you bathe. The chain also warns that anyone found inside with a visible tattoo will be removed.

Show this at the front desk

The operator’s own wording, to show at the desk if you need to.

A chain rule with the smallest seal on this page

APA states its rule centrally, in force since 19 March 2019 and repeated on every property page: tattoos are refused in the daiyokujo unless they can be hidden under no more than two of APA’s own point cover seals, each 10×12 cm (3.9×4.7 in). How we know

Confirmed from official site. The rule is on the group’s own 大浴殿について support page at apahotel.com/customer/stay-services/39/, in force since 19 March 2019, and the Takamatsu Airport property page lists a 大浴殿 among its facilities and describes the bath in detail.

Best for: A tattooed traveler on an early flight who wants a spring bath and two free cover seals from the desk

The bath is called Sanuki-no-yu, a top-floor view bath on a source the hotel names Kuko Onsen, reheated and on circulating filtration. It opens 6:00 to 10:00 and 17:00 to 24:00 and is for overnight guests only, with no day tickets. There is a sauna, a cold bath and a medicated bath on each side, and a rest room between the two changing rooms that is getting a card-key lock during autumn 2026. The hotel has 157 rooms and runs a free airport shuttle on a first-come basis.
