Does Pension Boku no Uchi allow tattoos? In a private bath
One small bath, fed straight off the Uenokawa source and handed to you with the door key, in a pension where the ski slope starts across the road and the dog sleeps in the room.
There is only one bath in the building and the house tells you to lock it. The owners describe a compact room for two or three adults, used kashikiri by a family or a couple, which means a tattooed guest never shares it with a stranger. No tattoo rule is published, and none is needed for a bath used this way.

The bath runs on the Uenokawa source with no recirculation, no added water and no heating, which the owners say makes the water change with the weather: heavy rain cools it and takes the acid down. It arrives at about 50°C and they ask you to add cold water. When the house is busy they may ask you to keep it to 30 minutes. Dogs sleep in the rooms. Payment at the property is cash only, with no cards accepted. The whole building can be taken by a group of up to 28.
