Does Takamiya Hotel Lucent allow tattoos? In a private bath
The hotel claims the strongest acid water in a town already famous for it, and pairs a rough-cut rock indoor bath with an open-air one under the trees. Two small baths beside them can be locked.
Lucent publishes no tattoo rule at all: its FAQ covers televisions, laundry and parking and never reaches the subject. So the shared baths are an unknown, and the listing rests on the two private baths instead. Ikoi is an indoor cypress tub and Nagomi a stone open-air one, both booked same day, both capped at two people.

Best for: A couple who wants the open-air tub locked to themselves at seven in the morning
The two private baths run 07:00–22:00 with cleaning from 10:00 to 13:00, booked in one-hour slots for 40 minutes of bathing. 3,300 yen for day visitors, 2,200 yen for house guests, and you can take both at once for 4,400 yen, or 3,300 yen as a guest. Capacity two. The house also runs a dry sauna from 16:00 to 22:00 and sells its guests a 100 yen ticket for the three public bathhouses. Takamiya group guests may use the baths at the group’s other Zao houses free between 08:00 and 10:00 and 13:00 and 20:00, with Miyamaso excluded.
