A reservable private bath alongside a gender-separated shared bath. The ryokan's own site publishes no tattoo policy for the shared bath, but the private route makes that moot.

Where it is

Tokyo to Atami is 35 to 50 minutes on the Tokaido Shinkansen, and the Ito line carries on down the coast to Ajiro and Izu-Taga.
