Does Hanabishi Hotel allow tattoos? In a private bath
Every room on the ground floor of the Suehirotei wing opens onto its own tub fed straight from the source, which is why the hotel can say plainly that it rents no private baths.
The answer here is a room with its own open-air tub on the hotel’s own spring. Every ground-floor room in the Suehirotei wing has one, the barrier-free room has one, and the Gagyutei suites that opened in May 2026 have one. The hotel publishes no tattoo rule anywhere on its site, and its FAQ says flatly that there is no rentable private bath, so the room tub is the only door that closes behind you.

Shared baths, for anyone who wants them: Hishi-no-yu and Hana-no-yu on the first floor, with two and three garden open-air tubs, and Gagyu-no-yu on the seventh with city views, all 15:00 to 25:00 and 05:00 to 10:00. Auto-loyly Finnish sauna at about 92°C, 15:00 to 23:00 and 06:00 to 09:30, with an outdoor cold tub. Spring is ナトリウム・カルシウム-塩化物温泉.
