About 3 km above Happo, on the road to the Daisekkei snow gorge Day-use open-air bath (private hire in winter)

Obinata-no-Yu

白馬八方温泉 おびなたの湯

Does Obinata-no-Yu allow tattoos? Yes!

Nothing to cover

The last bath up the valley toward the Hakuba Daisekkei, and the one closest to the Happo source: an open-air bath the operator built around a huge natural rock, with nothing indoors at all.

In the green season it is a shared outdoor bath, and the operator’s FAQ for its four day baths says people with tattoos may use them. In winter the question does not arise: from late December to the end of March the whole bath is hired out privately by the hour, booked online.
