Akazawa Onsen Hotel
赤沢温泉ホテル
Does Akazawa Onsen Hotel allow tattoos? In a private bath
Tenkyu-no-yu sits on the roof above the Pacific and is let by the hour to one party at a time, which is the only water on this property a tattooed guest can count on.
Read the refusal first: since 1 February 2025 the operator has asked people with tattoos, body paint included, not to enter, except in cases it recognizes under criteria it does not publish. Those criteria are not on the site, so treat the shared bath as closed. What remains is a room type with its own hot spring bath and Tenkyu-no-yu, a rooftop bath rented privately for an hour at 4,400 yen.
