Best for: The top-floor open-air tub looking at Kochi Castle, with a loyly sauna service, if you bring your own seal.
The men’s bath is いごっそうの湯 and the women’s はちきんの湯, both with a top-floor open-air tub looking at Kochi Castle and the hills, saunas with a loyly service, and a post-bath lounge called 城見櫓. Guests bathe 05:30 to 09:00 and 12:00 to 24:00; day visitors 12:00 to 16:00, with a Tuesday afternoon closure for cleaning. The house does not advertise a spring, so the water is heated, not thermal. Founded 1874 and used by the imperial family.
