Sansuien
高知城下の天然温泉 三翠園
Does Sansuien allow tattoos? Yes, covered
Called directly in September 2026: allowed if covered. Bring your own seal; the property does not sell one. There is still no reservable private bath, and the room tubs are still not hot spring water, so the shared spring bath with a seal is the only way in.

Best for: The only real hot spring in central Kochi, an open-air tub with saunas on both sides, if you bring your own seal.
湯殿 水哉閣 draws a sodium chloride high-temperature spring, recirculated and reheated rather than free-flowing, with an open-air tub and saunas on both sides. Guests bathe 15:00 to 23:30 and 06:00 to 09:30; day visitors 11:00 to 16:00 at 1,200 yen. FAQ answers used here: お部屋のお風呂は温泉ではございません and 当館には、貸切風呂はございません。
