Does Gensen Ichinoyu allow tattoos? Yes, covered
Two minutes from the Yubatake and built to be lived in rather than checked into: a hot spring drawn from its own source, a bath with a sofa beside it, and a foot-bath terrace that is the reason most guests come back down to the lobby.
A small one only. The large bath is closed to tattooed guests, except — in the hotel’s own words — a small point tattoo that a seal covers completely. Anything larger goes in the private bath, which is bookable and paid for.
