Hotel Route Inn Miyazaki Tachibana-dori
ホテルルートイン宮崎橘通
Does Hotel Route Inn Miyazaki Tachibana-dori allow tattoos? Yes, covered
Route Inn’s Tabibito-no-yu is an artificial radium bath on the 14th floor with the city under its windows, and the chain’s FAQ lets a tattoo in once a cover seal hides all of it.
The rule sits in the FAQ of Route Inn Hotels, which the hotel’s own facilities page links to. A tattooed guest is refused unless a cover seal hides the tattoo completely; then the large bath may be used. No size is set, and the FAQ does not say whether seals are sold.

入れ墨(タトゥー)のある方のご入浴はお断りしております。ただし、カバーシールを用いて入れ墨(タトゥー)が完全に覆える場合に限り、大浴場をご利用いただけます。
The operator’s own wording, to show at the desk if you need to.
The bath
Tabibito-no-yu, the traveler's bath, is on the 14th floor with a run of windows along one side and the rooftops of central Miyazaki beyond them. The water is what Route Inn calls a radium artificial hot spring: heated tap water with a mineral additive, not a natural source, and the hotel says so plainly on the bath page. There are separate men's and women's baths, each a long rectangular tub of dark polished granite with wash stations along the facing wall. The page lists no sauna and no open-air tub.
It opens from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and again from 5 to 10 a.m., and is free for staying guests; the hotel publishes no day-use admission. There is no private bath. The answer here is the cover seal: the group FAQ admits a tattoo only when a seal hides every bit of it, so bring your own, since the FAQ does not say the desk sells them.
The hotel
A 213-room Route Inn in the middle of the city, on the Tachibana-dori shopping street. The breakfast buffet of more than 30 Japanese and Western dishes is free for every guest. Parking is first come, first served, 38 ordinary cars and 26 high-roof vehicles, for ¥500. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out at 10 a.m.
