Does APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae allow tattoos? Yes, covered
A view bath on the fifteenth floor of the biggest APA in Sakae, open an hour later at night than its siblings.
Admitted only under cover seals. APA refuses tattooed bathers outright, then makes one exception: if the tattoo fits under no more than two of the chain’s own point tattoo cover seals, 10 by 12 centimeters each, the large bath is open. Overnight guests are given two seals free per person per night, handed out one night at a time. Anything a pair of seals cannot cover is refused.

Top-floor view bath with an open-air tub and a pot bath, 15:00 to 26:00 and 6:00 to 10:00, guests only and closed to day visitors. The hotel warns that the bath stocks no towels, yukata or amenities beyond soap, shampoo and conditioner, so carry them up from the room. 400 rooms, the largest APA in the district. The seal rule has been in force across APA since 19 March 2019. Day visitors buy their seals at the desk rather than receive them. Seal size 10 x 12 cm.
