Does Nakaodaira allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

Every bath in the house is taken behind a locked door, and the English page spells out what that means for anyone who has been turned away elsewhere.

Nakaodaira has no gendered bath at all: every one of its six baths is taken privately, and its English bath page says so and adds that tattoos are therefore not a concern. You hang the occupied sign and lock the door. This is the clearest answer any house in Okuhida gives a tattooed traveler.

All baths are private so please do not be concerned if you have tattoos.

The operator’s own wording, to show at the desk if you need to.
