Does Yumoto Choza allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

The main tub is a log bath cut from the hill behind the house, and three more bathhouses stand along a path outside the front door.

Choza publishes no tattoo rule on any of its pages, including the guest FAQ, which was read on 2026-09-18. Its bath page instead advertises three free private bathhouses, each with its own open-air pool, taken by choosing a vacant one from a lit panel and locking the door. Two further open-air baths stand outside the building in a riverside grove.

Shizuku no Yu and Kawara no Yu stand outside the front door along a path through the trees. Bicarbonate and simple springs. Around 28,600 yen per person with two meals. Day-use bathing is accepted.
