Minami 2-jo Nishi 7, Chuo-ku, seven minutes from Odori station Hotel with daiyokujo and open-air bath

APA Hotel Sapporo Odori Ekimae Minami

アパホテル〈札幌大通駅前南〉

Does APA Hotel Sapporo Odori Ekimae Minami allow tattoos? Yes, covered

Cover seal required

The rare central APA with an open-air bath as well as the indoor one, a quarter of an hour on foot from Sapporo Station and seven minutes from Odori.

APA refuses tattooed guests from its large baths and will remove anyone found inside, with one exception: if the tattoo fits under no more than two of the company’s own 10 × 12 cm point cover seals, you may bathe. Overnight guests get two seals free per person per night, handed over one night at a time, so you collect them each time you go down.

Show this at the front desk

The operator’s own wording, to show at the desk if you need to.

A chain rule with the smallest seal on this page

APA states its rule centrally, in force since 19 March 2019 and repeated on every property page: tattoos are refused in the daiyokujo unless they can be hidden under no more than two of APA’s own point cover seals, each 10×12 cm (3.9×4.7 in). How we know

Confirmed from official site — company-wide rule read on APA’s own customer-support page, in force since 2019-03-19; the property’s own page confirms it has a daiyokujo and open-air bath but carries no tattoo text of its own

Best for: Two small pieces you can cover yourself, on a walkable block west of Odori Park

Two seals is a hard cap, so a sleeve does not pass. The property lists a daiyokujo and an open-air bath among its facilities, 262 rooms, check-in 15:00 and out 10:00. Day-spa visitors buy the seals rather than getting them free. Of APA’s eight own-brand hotels in Sapporo, only this one and APA Hotel & Resort Sapporo were confirmed to have a large bath.
