Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei

ホテルラフォーレ修善寺 山紫水明

Does Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei allow tattoos? Yes, covered

Cover seal required

Every one of the forty-eight rooms has its own hot spring tub on the terrace, which makes this the rare Izu hotel where the shared bath is the optional part of the stay.

The rule for Mori-no-yu, the resort’s big bath, is a refusal with a measured way around it: two cover seals of 8cm × 10cm over the tattoo and you are in. The hotel points guests to the front desk for anything the sentence does not cover. Every room here has its own hot spring open-air bath as well, so the seal is only needed for the large bath.

The operator’s own wording, to show at the desk if you need to.

How we know

Confirmed from official site (the 温泉 page for Mori-no-yu on the Laforet Shuzenji site)

Best for: Anyone who wants the tattoo question to be optional: the room bath answers it, the seal handles the rest

Forty-eight rooms, all with a hot spring open-air bath on the terrace; the Fuji-side rooms look at the mountain from the tub. Mori-no-yu is the shared bath, with an outdoor bath and sauna, and is shared with the wider resort. The estate covers about fifty acres of forest, so a shuttle runs to Shuzenji STN.
