Shiki no Irodori Hatago
四季の彩 旅篭
Does Shiki no Irodori Hatago allow tattoos? In a private bath
Every room has its own open-air bath on the gold spring. The ryokan’s house rules refuse tattoos in a large bath, so the room bath is the one to use.
All rooms come with a stone open-air bath for two on the gold spring. The lodging agreement refuses tattooed guests in the large bath, the same sentence its sister ryokan uses, though the ryokan’s pages describe no shared bath at all.
What the hotel says about its baths

The bath
The open-air tubs are fed from the Gokuraku source. Rooms run from 60 to 85 m², the largest with its bath in a small garden. Each room except one also has an indoor tub, and that one is not spring water.
The hotel
Reopened in March 2023 after a full renovation. Check-in is 3 to 7:30 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m.
