Does Dogo Prince Hotel allow tattoos? In a private bath
Dogo’s biggest inn runs a bath crawl inside its own building, eight open-air tubs in the garden and four more behind doors you can lock for three quarters of an hour.
The hotel publishes no tattoo rule for its two shared bath floors, so those stay an unknown. The answer here is Yuraku, four reservable open-air baths in cypress, ceramic, stone and a wooden barrel, taken 45 minutes at a time. They cannot be booked in advance, which matters: you sign up at the desk after you arrive, and on a busy Saturday the house may stop taking day visitors altogether.

Yuraku is 5,500 yen for 45 minutes on a day visit and is not reservable ahead; the shared baths Yunoka and Yunone are 1,650 yen for adults on a day visit, 15:00–23:30 with last reception at 22:00, and the day-use fee is separate from the private bath. There are also rooms with their own open-air bath, added in summer 2024 along with a Japanese-modern twin with a deck terrace. The water is an alkaline simple spring.
