Does MACHI:SAUNA HIROSHIMA allow tattoos? Yes, covered
Two hours booked at a time around a wood-fired stove, with a 16-degree cold bath deep enough to stand in, three minutes from the Ebisucho tram stop.
Allowed, but the cover here is clothing rather than tape: the operator admits tattooed guests as long as a rash guard or similar hides the tattoo completely. That is a stricter cover than a hotel seal, because it has to cover the whole body, and it is the operator’s own wording.

A hybrid house with both a wood-fired and an electric stove. Sessions run two hours and are reserved, with walk-ins taken when there is room. 2,000 yen a head on weekdays, 2,500 yen at weekends and holidays, and a 1,500 yen ladies’ day on Tuesday. Open 13:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and holidays and 09:00 to 23:00 at weekends. The cold bath runs at 16°C, is about 90 centimeters deep and takes about five people. Twenty people in the house at a time.
