Does Hotel Sekifu allow tattoos? In a private bath
Hotel Sekifu papered its rooms in William Morris prints, and in the garden-side ones the spring bath is a private bath kept for that room alone, while the room itself has just a shower.
Sekifu says nothing about tattoos. Several room types come with a spring bath of their own: in the garden-side M type it is a private bath reserved for that room, which opened in December 2022, and other types have a semi-open-air bath or an indoor family bath in the suite.

What happens when you arrive
Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.
How we know
Confirmed from official site, bath structure rather than a tattoo policy (the hot spring page and rooms page describe each room bath)
