This is one of 24 bath-equipped properties run by Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management, which abolished its tattoo rule across all of them on 1 March 2026. The notice names three brands — Mitsui Garden Hotels, The Celestine Hotels and sequence — and qualifies the change by nothing: not size, not placement, not covering. It is the cleanest policy on this site, and the reason a third of the unconditional listings here carry the same name. One caution the group’s own material does not give you: its bath list also includes a property whose only water is a rooftop pool, and that pool still refuses tattooed guests. A Mitsui Garden name is not by itself a guarantee. Every property listed here has been checked individually for a real daiyokujo.
There is nothing to do. Check in, go to the bath. No seal to buy, no measuring, no declaration to make, and no size at which it stops being allowed. If a member of staff does query it, the operator’s own wording is above — showing it ends the conversation without either of you needing the other’s language.
