Hotel Crown Hills Matsuyama
Does Hotel Crown Hills Matsuyama allow tattoos? Covered, and not spring water
A charcoal-filtered tub rather than a spring, in a small hotel north of the station that will let one palm-sized seal through the door.
One seal, and you supply it. The bath page refuses tattooed bathers as a rule, then makes an exception for a tattoo hidden under a single 8 by 10 centimeter cover seal. Nothing on the page offers to sell or lend one, so bring your own. One seal of that size is the tightest allowance in the city, roughly a palm.
Show this at the front desk
The operator’s own wording, to show at the desk if you need to.

Best for: A small covered tattoo and a late soak seven minutes from the JR platform
Not a hot spring. The tub is filtered through binchotan charcoal, which the hotel says makes a weakly alkaline ionized water: Open 17:00 to 24:00 and 06:30 to 08:30, with the morning slot on the women’s side on weekdays. Rooms include a washing machine.
