Does Kisuke no Yu allow tattoos? Yes, covered
A 1,130-car garage, a carbonated bath billed as the largest in western Japan and a rock-bath floor that stays open all night, all one minute from the JR Matsuyama ticket gate.
Admitted with seals you buy on the spot. The FAQ says entry and bathing are refused as a rule for people with tattoos, then sets out the exception: buy the company’s own cover seals at 200 yen a sheet, 114 by 200 millimeters, and bathe if two of them cover the tattoo completely. The page says the exception exists because the operator recognizes that foreign and Japanese attitudes to tattoos differ by fashion, culture and religion. Two sheets of that size is a generous allowance, but a piece larger than roughly a forearm panel will not fit.

Bath 5:00 to 26:00, last reception 25:00; the 喜助の蒸 rock-bath floor runs 10:00 to 09:00 the next morning. Open year round apart from a few unannounced maintenance days. The same FAQ says the building has no family bath at all: 当店浴室は大浴場のみとなっておりますのでご了承ください. Bathing is refused during menstruation. Post-surgery bathing wear is welcomed and single-use bathing wear is sold in the changing room. A 1,130-space garage gives four free hours with a bath ticket. Terminal Hotel Matsuyama opposite sells its guests a discounted ticket.
