Does Ginsyo allow tattoos? In a private bath
The operator calls the table it serves dinner on a hot spring table, because the source wells up through the middle of it. Nine floors above that, three open-air baths lock behind one party at a time, looking across the water at the Osumi Peninsula.
No rule is published here, and none is needed for the baths that count. Ginsyo keeps three reservable open-air baths on its ninth floor, each held by one party at a time, and a long list of rooms with an open-air bath on their own balcony. The second-floor shared baths and the ninth-floor infinity bath are a different matter, since the operator says nothing about tattoos in either.

The three reservable open-air baths are named Sora, Hoshi and Umi: 4,000 yen per room for 50 minutes, claimed first come after check-in from 15:00, last reception 20:00, adults only. Room types with a bath of their own include Shio-no-ne and Suna-no-ne, a two-person annex with a couple’s open-air bath, and a Japanese room with a private hot spring pool. Refurbished rooms reopened on 10 September 2025. Every bath runs on water from the source.
