Does Hotel Route-Inn Grand Nagoya Fujigaoka-Ekimae allow tattoos? Yes, covered
The newest Route Inn in the city and the only one on real spring water, at the Higashiyama line’s eastern terminus.
Admitted if a cover seal hides the tattoo completely. The group FAQ refuses tattooed bathers and then allows the large bath to anyone whose tattoo is fully covered by a cover seal. Route Inn’s seal is the largest of any chain in Nagoya at 11.4 by 20 centimeters, and the front desk sells them. The FAQ sets no limit on how many you may use, only that the cover must be complete.

Best for: Genuine spring water under a cover seal, at the subway terminus nearest the hills
The only Route Inn in Nagoya on real spring water: Tabibito-no-yu draws the Eiwa Onsen source, a sodium chloride and bicarbonate spring the hotel describes as clear with a faint salt taste. Opened 25 December 2024. The women’s bath has a shampoo bar and a fine-bubble shower head. All four Route Inn baths in Nagoya run 15:00 to 2:00 and 5:00 to 10:00. Seal size 11.4 x 20 cm.
