The hilltop bath complex above Obata Ryokuchi, and the only day-use house in Nagoya that will sell a tattooed visitor a cover seal instead of turning them away.
The only day-use bath in Nagoya that lets a tattoo in at all. Entry is refused to anyone with a tattoo, including stickers and paint, unless the tattoo fits under no more than two of the house cover seals, 9.5 by 14 centimeters, sold at 200 yen a sheet. Cover it and the whole building is open. Anything larger, or a refusal to wear the seals, is turned away at the door.

The house calls itself the birthplace of the carbonated-spring super sento. Natural hot spring, carbonated tubs, saunas, a stone spa and a restaurant, open 6:00 to 2:30. Weekday admission 850 yen, weekends 950. Two seals at 9.5 by 14 centimeters is a wider allowance than any hotel in the city except Route Inn. Seal size 9.5 x 14 cm.
