Does AYA Niseko allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

AYA pulls its water from over 700 meters below Hirafu and runs it into three family baths a guest can take on the day, at the desk, in hour-long slots.

The onsen page carries opening hours, a spring analysis and a single health request about showering before the sauna, and no tattoo rule at all, in English or Japanese. So the answer here is the three private family baths, which staying guests reserve at reception on the day of use for 3,000 yen an hour in fixed slots between 10:30 and 21:00.

Jozankei has no railway: the Jotetsu Kappa Liner runs there from Sapporo Station in 56 minutes and is booked in advance. AYA Niseko · map data © OpenStreetMap contributors · open in Google Maps

What happens when you arrive

Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.

How we know

Confirmed from official site — bath structure, not a tattoo policy. English and Japanese onsen pages were read; neither mentions tattoos.
