Does Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono allow tattoos? In a private bath
The Signature Suites put a hot spring on the terrace, looking across the valley at Mount Yotei, which is a rare thing to own rather than to book by the hour.
The Hanazono resort, which built the hotel and runs the ski area it sits in, states that each Signature Suite has its own private natural hot spring on the terrace, so a guest in one of those suites never has to raise the question. The hotel’s own spa page on hyatt.com is reported to carry an English statement that tattoos are not restricted in the onsen, but that page refused to load for us and is not quoted here. Treat the shared onsen as unverified until someone reads that page.

Confirmed from the Hanazono resort’s own English accommodation page — bath structure, not a tattoo policy. The hotel’s spa page on hyatt.com could not be loaded from here: every request, by browser and by fetch, was answered by Hyatt’s bot wall with HTTP 429 and an empty document. Needs a second pass by hand.

Best for: A guest booking a Signature Suite, where the hot spring is on the terrace and the question never comes up
Hanazono’s wording: “Each suite has a terrace and a balcony with spectacular views of Mount Yotei, as well as a private natural hot spring.” Opened December 2024. Booking.com also lists a room type described as a suite with an onsen bathtub. The English tattoo statement on the Hyatt spa page still needs to be read and quoted before this listing claims anything about the shared onsen.
