Does Yumoto Niseko Prince Hotel Hirafutei allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

Fifty-nine of the rooms here open onto their own hot spring tub, which is less a feature of the building than the reason it is shaped the way it is.

Hirafutei publishes no tattoo rule on its hot spring, facilities or FAQ pages, so the large bath is an unanswered question. It also has no family bath, and says so in the FAQ. What it has instead is scale: 59 of its 151 rooms come with their own hot spring open-air bath, the largest count of in-room onsen of any hotel in Hirafu.

Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.

How we know

Confirmed from official site — bath structure, not a tattoo policy. The hot spring, facilities and FAQ pages were read; none mentions tattoos, and the FAQ states there is no family bath.
