Does Setsu Niseko allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

The four private onsen rooms carry month names rather than numbers, Mutsuki for winter through Kannazuki for autumn, which is the hotel’s way of suggesting you come back in another season.

Setsu says nothing about tattoos on its wellness pages in either language or in its long FAQ, so the shared bath is unanswered. The listing stands on two kinds of private water instead. Four bookable private onsen rooms, named for the months of the four seasons, cost 2,000 yen a slot in summer and 3,000 yen in winter and are charged to the room. Above those, every Four Bedroom Suite and Penthouse has an onsen inside the suite, fed by the same free-flowing spring.

What happens when you arrive

Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.

How we know

Confirmed from official site — bath structure, not a tattoo policy. The English and Japanese onsen pages and the FAQ were read; none mentions tattoos.
