Does Niseko Ekimae Onsen Kira no Yu allow tattoos? In a private bath
The bathhouse sits across the forecourt from the brick-and-timber Niseko station, and it puts the current crowding in each of its two baths on its own home page so you can see before you walk over.
The town-run bathhouse publishes no tattoo rule on any of its pages, so the two large baths are an unanswered question. It does publish a small bath set aside for private use by a few people at a time, taken by application at the counter, and that is the answer a tattooed bather can rely on here. Ask for the shoyokujo when you pay.

Confirmed from official site — bath structure, not a tattoo policy. The facilities, hours and access pages were read on 2026-09-16 and none mentions tattoos; the facilities page describes the small bath as being for private use by application.

The small bath is by application at the counter; the site does not publish its fee or session length, so ask. Two large baths, one Western with a granite open-air tub, a jacuzzi and a sauna, one Japanese with a rock open-air tub, a hinoki indoor bath and a sauna; they swap sides by date, Western for men on odd days and for women on even days. Simple alkaline water at 35 to 37 degrees. Open 10:00–21:30, last reception 21:00, closed the second and fourth Wednesday, or the next day when that falls on a public holiday, and open every day in August, September and October. From 1 July the admission rose to 800 yen for high-school age and up and 300 yen for elementary and junior high; Niseko residents keep the old 600 and 250 yen rates. A free tatami rest hall, a shop and a coin laundry are inside.
