Does APA Hotel & Resort Midosuji Honmachi Eki Tower allow tattoos? Yes, covered
A tower bath straight out of Honmachi station’s exit, on the Midosuji line between Umeda and Namba.
Tattoos are allowed if two of APA's own cover seals, 10 cm × 12 cm (3.9 × 4.7 in) each, hide them. Overnight guests get two free per person per night, handed over one night at a time, so ask again each evening. The bath is for staying guests only.

The bath
Genyo no Yu, in the basement, is the chain’s quasi-natural Komeiseki hot spring: artificial, mineral-treated water made with komeiseki ore, which APA credits with helping nerve pain, rheumatism and fatigue. The hotel describes a roomy bath where you can stretch your legs out, with a pot bath in the open-air space. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided in the bath, but towels aren’t, so carry them down from your room. The entrance opens with your room key. The changing rooms have coin washers and dryers that take cash only; the basement laundry room has more machines, a change machine and cashless payment. Open 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The bath is for overnight guests only, with no day visitors and no bath-only use.
The hotel
An all non-smoking tower with an outdoor pool on the third floor, open in summer (July 3 to September 23 in 2026) to hotel guests at ¥1,500 an hour on weekdays and 2,000 at weekends. The room list starts at 11 m² standard rooms and goes up to connecting rooms and suites; standards on the 26th floor and above sell as high-floor rooms. Breakfast buffet at La Veranda, 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking ¥2,500 a night. Check-in 3 p.m.; check-out 10 a.m., extendable to 2 p.m. at ¥2,000 an hour.

The automatic doors lock from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.; your room key opens them.
