Does Candeo Hotels Osaka The Tower allow tattoos? Yes!
An infinity open-air bath on the 31st floor, which the hotel records as the highest outdoor infinity public bath inside a building anywhere, a Guinness entry, open to the sky over Higobashi.
No restrictions. The sky spa page states the hotel doesn’t restrict entry on the basis of body art or tattoos, nothing to cover.
The bath
The sky spa sits 127 meters up, on the 31st and top floor. In the hotel’s photos the open-air tubs are lined in small green mosaic tiles: the men’s looks over a glass balustrade across the lit office towers, and the women’s runs out to its edge between the building’s glass wall and a pleated white facade. Indoors, a long tub runs the length of floor-to-ceiling windows over the city, and the hotel put in plenty of shower booths so you aren’t left waiting.
Both sides have an auto-löyly sauna, a cold bath and space to sit out in the open air; the men’s sauna has two stoves made by the Finnish firm iki. The open-air bath closes when the wind reaches 8 meters a second. The hotel doesn’t say the water is a hot spring.
Open 3 p.m. to 11 a.m. the next morning, with the saunas off from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Hotel guests only: the spa isn’t currently sold on its own. Towels stay in your room, not the spa, so carry them up; shampoo and conditioner are Candeo’s own organic line. No children still in diapers, and from age seven, boys and girls use their own side.
The hotel
The front desk is on the 17th floor. The 24 m² Deluxe rooms have a shower room with no tub; from the 26 m² Executive rooms up, the bathroom has a Japanese-style washing area. Two large suites of 60 and 75 m² go by the name Premium Private Spa. Beds are Simmons throughout. Check-in 3 p.m., check-out 11 a.m., or noon if you book as a Club Candeo member on the hotel’s site.

Yodoyabashi STN · Midosuji subway line and Keihan line
About 6 minutes from exit 7.
Shin-Osaka is about 10 minutes by subway, and Kansai Airport about 1 hour 10 minutes by the Nankai line.
