The bath

Tsubo-yu is a pot bath that fills with two people in it, with its own washing space. It is open 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., last booking 9:30, and 8 to 10 a.m., last booking 9:30. Two rooms have a bath of their own: the detached Kinmokusei, with a semi-open-air cypress bath, and Miyabi, with an indoor one. Every bath at the inn is free-flowing spring water.

The shared bathhouse has a rock bath and a cypress bath, and guests can also use Chosei-no-yu, the day-use bath across the road, at no charge.
