Does Nagomi no Yu Kachofugetsu allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

The hotel has no large bath by design. All 24 rooms have their own spring-water bath, most of them semi-open-air.

The hotel’s FAQ says it built no large bath, to keep guests’ privacy, and put a hot-spring bath in every room instead. It publishes no tattoo policy, and with no shared bath there is nothing for one to apply to.

The bath

Every room has a bath on natural spring water. The standard rooms, 37 m², have a semi-open-air tub in wood, a barrel or ceramic, depending on the room. The larger rooms run from the 46 m² designer room to the Kumoi suite, the only one with a fully open-air rock bath plus an indoor bath, which is booked by phone only.

The hotel

Twenty-four rooms: fifteen standard rooms, two panda-themed rooms, a barrier-free room and the larger suites. The hotel’s site doesn’t give check-in or checkout times.
