Does Issa no Komichi Biyu no Yado allow tattoos? In a private bath
Biyu no Yado stands on high ground above the Yudanaka streets, the inn says, and its private bath is up on the roof, booked forty minutes at a time.
No tattoo rule is published. The inn sells a rooftop private open-air bath by the 40-minute slot, booked ahead, and has rooms with their own open-air bath. Use either and the shared baths never come up.

Rooftop private open-air bath: 2,000 yen for 40 minutes, advance booking required, slots on the hour 16:00–21:40 and from 7:00 in the morning. Rooms with an open-air bath: the Western-style Issa and Sakura rooms and the Japanese-style Biyu room. Three sources, all free-flowing, tended by a yumori. Large baths close 10:00–14:00 and swap sides between 0:30 and 1:00.
