Does Shoraiso allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

Rebuilt in 2024 after the 1939 wooden inn burned, Shoraiso takes five parties a night, and each of its five rooms has an open-air bath on a garden of its own.

Shoraiso publishes no tattoo rule of its own. All five of its rooms have a private open-air bath on the inn’s own free-flowing source, so there is no need to use a shared bath. Its guests are sent across the road to Yorozuya’s large baths, where Yorozuya’s rule applies: a palm-sized tattoo under a sticker, nothing larger.

JR East Pass Covers the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano. The Nagano Electric Railway on to Yudanaka is a private line and is paid separately. Sold on Klook.

What happens when you arrive

Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.
