Negiya Ryofukaku
ねぎや陵楓閣
Does Negiya Ryofukaku allow tattoos? In a private bath
Two private baths, each with a gold-spring tub, are booked in check-in order at ¥3,300 for 45 minutes. The ryokan publishes no tattoo policy that we could read.
The two private baths are Yuzuriha-no-yu, indoors, and Natsume-no-yu, semi-open-air. Each pairs a tub of gold spring with one of plain hot water. They cost ¥3,300 for 45 minutes and are booked in the order guests check in. We found no tattoo wording on the ryokan’s pages, though part of its FAQ wouldn’t load.
What the hotel says about its baths
貸切風呂は内湯に白湯と金泉を備えた室内風呂「譲葉の湯」と内湯に白湯、半露天に金泉を備えた半露天風呂「棗の湯」がございます。
The operator’s own wording.
The bath
The private baths are open 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Three room types have a tub of their own, among them rooms with a rock open-air bath in a bamboo grove, but the ryokan says the room tubs are not spring water.
The shared baths swap by time of day: the cypress large bath, with gold spring in its open-air tub, and Higurashi-no-yu, a detached open-air bath about 30 steps away.
The hotel
The private baths were rebuilt in March 2023.
