Fufu Kawaguchiko
ふふ 河口湖
Does Fufu Kawaguchiko allow tattoos? In a private bath
The tubs at Fufu are set in Mount Fuji lava stone, one on every room’s terrace, and they run on the Nishikawa Onsen spring the hotel calls Reiho-no-yu.
Book any room and the bath is yours: Fufu says every room has an open-air bath laid with Mount Fuji lava stone and filled with natural hot spring water. It publishes no tattoo rule for its large bath, so treat that one as closed and use the bath on your terrace.

How we know
Confirmed from official site, bath structure, not a tattoo policy (the hotel’s onsen and room pages)

Best for: An onsen soak on your own terrace in a room built around it
The operator writes 全てのお部屋に露天風呂をご用意いたしました, and lists 富士溶岩の客室露天風呂 in every room type; the larger suites add a heated-stone bed and some an indoor bath. The spring is Nishikawa Onsen Reiho-no-yu, a sodium-calcium sulfate spring. Large bath 15:00–24:00 and 6:00–11:00, with a dry sauna for löyly on the men’s side and a mist sauna on the women’s. Its FAQ is a chat widget rather than a page, so there was no written rule to read.
