Does La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko allow tattoos? In a private bath
The four private baths here are built in brick, stone, bamboo and mosaic tile, cost nothing, and take no booking: a lit board tells you which one is empty, day or night.
La Vista publishes no tattoo rule for this hotel, so do not count on the large bath. What it does have is four private baths on natural hot spring water, free, open 24 hours and never booked: a lit board shows which one is empty and you walk in. Any number of turns is free as long as one is free.

Private baths: brick, stone, bamboo and mosaic tile, natural onsen, 24 hours except short cleaning closures, no reservations, free for repeat use; a chair-style hot-stone bath sits beside them and is also free. No towels at the baths: carry the bath basket left in your room. Large bath “Chozan-no-yu” 15:00–11:00 next morning, closed 2:00–4:00; the hotel notes the small outdoor bath on the men’s side is not hot spring water. Every room but the five Force rooms has a view bath at the window facing Mount Fuji; the hotel does not say what water fills it. Kyoritsu’s La Vista Kusatsu Hills publishes a rule pointing tattooed guests to its private baths; this property does not.
