Izanro Iwasaki
依山楼 岩崎
Does Izanro Iwasaki allow tattoos? In a private bath
Izanro has stood over the Misasa river for more than a hundred years, and every room it sells as an open-air room is plumbed straight from the source.
Izanro publishes no tattoo rule, so its two big bath halls, Hidari-no-yu and Migi-no-yu, are an unanswered question. The room list is explicit where the bath pages are silent: every room sold as an open-air room has a source-flow tub. The Sansuikaku and Tozankaku wings have hinoki open-air rooms of 45 to 58 square meters, and the Futaba floor has a half-open-air room of 35.2 square meters facing the Misasa river.

What happens when you arrive
Skip the shared baths and reserve the private one the way this page describes. Once the door is closed, the bath is yours.
How we know
Confirmed from official site — bath structure, not a tattoo policy (the 客室 index, which states the open-air room tubs are 源泉かけ流し)

Best for: A traveler who wants the town’s landmark inn without using its bath halls
The two bath halls swap between men and women at 5:00 in the morning and close for cleaning from 10:00 to 11:00. A radium steam room runs 11:00 to 24:00, from noon on Wednesdays. The house has been in business more than a century and keeps a gallery of its own history off the lobby.
