Does APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower allow tattoos? Yes, covered
A large bath with jet, sleeping and lukewarm tubs and a sauna, in a 40-story tower a minute from JR Namba.
Tattoos are allowed if two of APA's own cover seals, 10 cm × 12 cm (3.9 × 4.7 in) each, hide them. Overnight guests get two free per person per night, handed over one night at a time, so ask again each evening.

The bath
Genyo no Yu is on the fourth floor of a 2,055-room tower, with six kinds of large bath on APA’s quasi-natural Komeiseki hot spring, an artificial spring made with an ore the chain says has a strong ionizing effect: the main bath, the open-air bath, a jet bath, a sleeping bath, a lukewarm bath and a sauna. Open 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and 6 to 10 a.m., for overnight and day-plan guests only, no walk-in entry. The bath has no towels, so bring them from your room; the entrance opens with your room key, and yukata (a light cotton robe) and slippers are fine. Coin washers and dryers stand in each changing room, and there is a water dispenser inside.
The hotel
A 40-story tower whose elevators split at the 21st floor, with a rooftop pool on the 40th, a gym, a cafe and a convenience store. Breakfast is a buffet of more than 80 dishes at RESTAURANT 17CLUB on the second floor, served 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. so it doubles as brunch; SKY DINING UOMAN on the 40th floor serves breakfast until 10 a.m. Parking ¥2,000 per 24 hours. Check-in time is 3 p.m., check-out 10 a.m.
