Tachibana Shikitei
たちばな四季亭
Does Tachibana Shikitei allow tattoos? In a private bath
A ryokan steps from the Kosoyu where Rosanjin’s work hangs in the dining rooms and the rooms to book have a hinoki open-air tub on a courtyard of their own.
No tattoo rule is published. Book a room with an open-air bath: the inn has rooms with a hinoki open-air bath and courtyard and rooms with an open-air bath, all piped from the source and usable day and night.

How we know
Confirmed from official site, bath structure rather than a tattoo policy (客室露天風呂について on the 温泉 page)

Best for: A hinoki open-air bath with its own small courtyard garden
The inn’s FAQ says the room open-air baths use source water but are filtered and recirculated for hygiene and temperature, while the large open-air bath is free-flowing with water added to cool it. Closed 6–11 September 2026 for maintenance and reopening on 12 September, per its own notice. The inn has a Rosanjin connection and private dining rooms opened in March 2023.
