Tattoos are allowed if up to two cover seals hide them completely, the largest 11.8 cm × 17.2 cm (4.6 × 6.8 in). The bath, Temma no Yu, is on the 11th floor with an open-air bath under the night sky.
The hotel's own FAQ says seals are provided “depending on the facility” and that stock is limited, so bring your own of the right size.

The bath
Temma no Yu is on the 11th and top floor: an indoor tub with room to stretch out, and an open-air bath where you look up at a night sky the hotel says doesn't feel like the middle of Tokyo. Not a spring. A two-tier dry sauna with a television, a one-person ceramic cold tub to sink into, and the rooftop for the cool-down. Open 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning; the sauna is off between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.
The hotel
134 rooms, mostly doubles, with semi-doubles and Western and Japanese-style twins. Check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m. Breakfast is the chain's buffet.
Good to know
- Seafood bowl or simmered beef with tofu as the local dishes at breakfast.
- From Narita, take the Skyliner to Keisei Ueno, walk seven minutes to the Hibiya line at Ueno, and ride four stops.
